Corey Griffin dedicated his life to serving others. Corey had an empathetic demeanor, a magnetic personality, and loved to put a smile on people’s faces. He believed that it was possible to uplift others during every unique interaction . Corey also believed that giving back to his community wasn’t just the duty and responsibility of those more mature in age or established in his or her career.
Corey was an instrumental board member of both the NHL Alumni Pro-Am and the Boston Winter Ball. The week of Corey’s tragic and unexpected passing, he personally raised $100,000 for ALS, and his friend Pete Frates.
Corey passed at 27 years of age, but his legacy lives on. The foundation has become an extension of Corey’s guiding principles, uplifting children in need, and encouraging young leaders to give back to their communities earlier in their lives. Corey’s spirit and legacy will always be a source of inspiration for the foundation and all of its beneficiaries.
