Corey C. Griffin Foundation Announces New Addition to Foundation Leadership

Chandra Clark hired as President

Dear Friends,

Today I am thrilled to be able to announce that as of November 7th Chandra Clark will be the inaugural President of the Corey C. Griffin Foundation!

Chandra connected immediately with our board members and the Griffin Family. Her expertise, energy, faith, and passion make her the right leader for the right time and the perfect person to help carry on Corey’s legacy. Chandra brings 20 years of experience designing and implementing highly impactful partnerships and community initiatives that improve the lives of marginalized populations to this new role. Most recently, she was the CEO of VHL Alliance. Prior to that, she held a long tenure at Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Kansas City, MO.

We are thrilled to have Chandra’s incredibly strong background of nonprofit management, fundraising, and partnership-building as well as her deep commitment to youth development, education, and health as the new leader of our community. Chandra will work closely with all of you who are key to the Foundation’s work to build upon our past success and launch the Foundation into its next chapter.

Chandra can be reached at [email protected]. Over the next few weeks and months, she will be reaching out to many of you to schedule a time to connect. And, in addition to our commitment to the Foundation’s ambitious agenda, we are all committed to turning Chandra into a Boston sports fan!

I want to give a special shout out to Melissa Bowman, the members of the Corey C. Griffin Foundation board, and in particular, our search committee (Rob, Casey, and Mike Griffin, Tom Greeley, Jeff Schwartz, and Ellen Crowley) for the time and effort they put into the search process.

These past few months have only served to remind me of the incredible community that has been built around Corey’s legacy. Thank you for being a part of this community and please join me in welcoming Chandra!

With admiration,
Corey A. Griffin
Chair of the Board of Directors

“I am honored to serve as the new President of the Corey C. Griffin Foundation. It is truly a privilege to advocate as a servant leader in advancing the mission and vision of the Foundation. When I think of the many adverse circumstances that I endured as a disadvantaged youth, my heart is full of the realization that it was preparation for the transformational work that we will continue to do in the Boston community. As we strive every day to carry forth Corey’s legacy, we recognize the power of aligning our pain with our purpose. I am looking forward to working with the many incredible people that are the heart and soul of the Corey C. Griffin Foundation!” Chandra Clark
