Katie Gassert joined the Corey C. Griffin Foundation (CCGF) as the Director of Advancement and Special Events, bringing nearly 16 years of experience in development, special events, and public relations from her time in New York City. A native of Hingham and an New York University alumna, Katie returned to Boston to work for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where she managed an array of special events ranging from galas to donor events as Director of Development Events.
In her new role, Katie will lead major CCGF events like CoreyFest and the Boston Winter Ball, collaborate with the Emerging Leaders Council, cultivate volunteer relationships, and oversee the organization’s fundraising efforts.
“I’m thrilled to be able to bring my experience to CCGF, supporting our program partners and Corey’s Kids,” she says. Katie is eager to work with the Board, program partners, and community members to expand CCGF’s impact across Boston and beyond.
We’re excited to welcome Katie to the team and look forward to the invaluable expertise she’ll bring to our mission!
