Lawrence Catholic Academy is a Catholic school in Lawrence, Mass., serving students from PreK through Grade 8. 

Lawrence Catholic Academy provides a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous environment for over 475 children, many from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The Academy focuses on fostering personal growth and academic excellence, preparing students to succeed in school and beyond.

The Corey C. Griffin Foundation has been a key partner in Lawrence Catholic Academy’s mission, providing substantial financial support to fund the construction of new, modern school facilities. These improvements will significantly enhance the Academy’s ability to serve the community. 

These facilities will offer students a more dynamic and comprehensive educational experience, helping them grow both academically and personally. They will also be fully accessible, ensuring that students with physical disabilities can participate fully in school life.

A STEM Makerspace for hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Expanded early childhood classrooms, doubling the program’s capacity from 74 to 140 students.

A three-story school building with modern classrooms for Kindergarten through Grade 8.

A Lasting Impact for the Community

The Corey C. Griffin Foundation’s support is enabling Lawrence Catholic Academy to increase its enrollment to nearly 600 students, allowing the Academy to serve more families in Lawrence. The new facilities and enhanced curriculum will provide students with the skills they need to succeed, while also fostering a strong sense of community. The impact of this project will benefit not just current students, but future generations as well.
